Glow in the dark!! – It’s so great that these are glow in the dark…perfect for nightlife! These are like other products I’ve used…great for one night, but maybe not for multiple uses unless you have some glue/adhesive product, not sure if the stickiness will last for another night (that could also be related to moisturizer used on my face). But, the gems were perfect for a Christmas party…would also be great for Halloween, etc.

Couldn’t figure out the instructions – I read and re-read the instructions but couldn’t figure out what they were saying. The instructions say to keep them on the plastic and move them side to side and somehow they’re supposed to go on? The plastic doesn’t stick at all, so I don’t know how you’re supposed to put them on with plastic on the backs. Even though the directions said not to peel them off and put them on individually, I ended up having to do that because it was the only way to put them on. I tested a big one and a little one on my arm. The little one fell off in less than a minute. The big one stayed on for several hours until I peeled it off. I kept forgetting I had it on, and when my hand touched my arm I kept thinking I had a big scab or something, but then I’d remember it’s the sticker.

They aren’t super sticky, so they don’t stay on skin too well, but the directions do mention that you can also use adhesive if you need it. Fun for the kids – Since my girls love things like this, I bought them to put in their Christmas stockings. There are packages in the box, some of them are meant to use as one design but I do like the packages that contain many of the same shape, so the girls can come up with their own designs. Since my kids are a little older (7, 10 and 12), I won’t worry about them swallowing and choking but some of the designs that are a little bigger would not be good for younger children. The directions say they are reusable using body or eyelash glue but I’m thinking these will be one and done and well worth the money at that!

Have some lash glue handy – The face gems are lovely and so much fun! I love that they add a touch of color with some of the jewels. Using this product is definitely trial and error. Some of the face gems stick to the skin well, but others fall off too easily. It is best to keep some sort of glue (for the skin) around when you want to use these jewels. Lash glue seems to work well. Just make sure you don’t have any allergies to using glue and follow the directions for removal.

Glow in the dark well – I was very happy with how well these glowed! We charged them on the papers for around 10 minutes before we put them on and they glowed wonderfully. Be aware that these aren’t your typical crystal looking face gems because of that glow in the dark feature. They have more of a shiny almost iridescent look to them. They are very pretty, my only complaint would be the adhesive they used. It was a little difficult for my kids to peel them off of the papers with the adhesive backing attached. I didn’t have much of an issue but it didn’t seem to be very kid friendly in that aspect.
