Strong scent but nice foundation for fair skin – This foundation goes on well and covers nicely. I have pretty fair Caucasian skin with a slight yellowish undertone, and the #2 Ivory color was a good match (although slightly lighter than my summer-tanned skin… probably will work better in February when I’m super pale again!). A little goes a long way and the pump bottle is easy to use. It has a weird perfumey fragrance, which I did not expect in a foundation, and which lasts a long time. I wish it didn’t!. My skin feels very soft with this foundation on, and it feels very light. Not sure it’s worth the price, though.

feels light on the skin – This foundation does a good job of covering my blemishes and imperfections but doesn’t feel heavy or like I’ve just caked on a whole bunch of makeup. I usually pump foundation on the back of my hands and use that as a palette with my foundation brush. When I was done applying throughout areas on my face the leftover foundation on the back of my hands felt light, unlike some of the other foundation where it still feels heavy, thick, or oily. It dried matte on my face and didn’t feel heavy on my face either, nor was it oily. I am quite happy with the results of this foundation.

Good match and coverage – I have very pale skin, so I went with Porcelain. This foundation blended beautifully into my skin tone and did a great job covering redness from rashes or acne. It felt very smooth and nice on my skin. A little went a long way. I did struggle a bit with a beauty blender, though, and felt like I had to apply some more to the more troublesome areas, and when I finished my look and put my glasses back on, it looked powdery (but that may have been due to the finishing powder, perhaps I was a bit heavy-handed). Still, it was a nice feeling foundation that stayed where it was supposed to once it dried.

I thought this was a rather limited amount of choices. I do get that this is targeted at a specific ethnic group, and but even within that group, this was a rather limited range. Although I would have gone normally probably for the Ivory, it has more of a yellow undertone to it, which does not suit me. I ended up going with the Porcelain. I am very pale and normally use tones in these color ranges.
