It really does adjust to your skin tone/color… most foundations hat claim to do that usually have zero coverage, but the coverage this has , for me, is between medium-full. The coverage is also buildable., but doesn’t look caked on. The applicator is something I’m not used to, but after a couple of times I’m actually really liking it. The other reviewers are right- it came as a big mess…when I opened the jar (twist off top) mine looked exactly like the other reviewers pictures. I almost just packed it back up, but am really glad that I didn’t. I would call the finish a natural finish, not matte and not shiny. I’m in my 40’s and need the hydration and this didn’t disappoint. As far as longevity, I’ve gone about 7-8 hours with only touching up my nose with a bit of powder.
