Down size – I have some JS pallets and they are cute but bulky, I wish this pallet was a little bigger because 3 eye shadows wouldn’t fit. I haven’t decided if I want to forfeit the shadows or buy another case just for 3 shadows. Otherwise this product is really great, it feels rich.

Very Weak Magnetic Strength – Good Palette to Keep at Home, But Bad for Traveling – I have a lot of different magnetic palettes and was looking for a medium sized palette for travel. Out of all my magnetic palettes (Z-Palette, Make Up For Ever, and Etsy ones), this is one has the weakest magnetic strength. I’m worried that the shadows will slide around and become loose if I keep this in my purse and travel with it. But it would be a nice affordable palette to use at home.

Sturdy construction, secure closure, powerful magnet, perfect capacity – I recently purchased two of these in an effort to declutter some older Colourpop palettes, and I am beyond impressed. For their size, they hold quite a few shadows. I managed to fit 23 CP pans into one, and the other now holds three bronzers, a blush, two highlights, and nine shadows. I was worried initially that they’d be too small for what I had in mind, but they ended up holding more than I needed them to. The compact size still gets you a huge mirror, and combined, those two factors make them ideal for using their mirror while you do your makeup if you’re super nearsighted like I am. Probably the best thing about this palette, though is the construction. The plastic is so sturdy, and the closure is extremely effective. It’s actually slightly angled away from you, which probably makes it harder to open on accident if you drop it (I haven’t tested this yet and don’t plan to, but I have a lot of faith in these bad boys). Mine also came with no logos on them, which I really prefer. I’ve tried cardboard-based empty palettes before, and those just kind of ended up extremely messy and falling apart. I feel like these are going to last for years. Seriously, I can’t say enough about how good these palettes are and what a difference they’ve made over the cardboard ones I was using. Do yourself a favor and pick this empty palette.
