Inexpensive Perfection – I love beauty and I am an aesthetician. My drag friend told me about this and she was 100% correct. This is the best drug store foundation ever! if you like Fenty and its matte medium coverage but $34 is not in the budget this month? buy this dupe! I bought Fenty in the winter and needed a darker summer shade so my friend told me to try this. love the color on my tanned skin – its goes on like velvet and stays on all day. perfect for my oily skin.

Ok – It’s okay

You need setting powered this transfers – It matches my skin best it can. Sticks when it set but you’ll find yourself reapplying if you plan to use it for a long night/day out. Especially if you’re sweating. It’s sticky too can be hard to properly blend

Better than what I’ve been using – I like this foundation to a point. I have yellow undertones (my complexion is kind of like Queen Latifah’s) but got the nutmeg because like most of us, I’m darker in the summer. It does have a slight orange color to it but with my tan is looks ok. I also purchased it in topaz which is a little lighter and less orange. I’ll use that soon as my tan is fading. Like others, I found the product oily so I have to blot a lot during the day. I gave it 4 stars because it’s oily, a little orange and just light/medium coverage. I prefer full coverage. I have to add just a little concealer over it to achieve what I’m looking for. I also purchased the cream stick but haven’t tried that yet. It does make my skin look nice though and it’s way better than I’ve found in a long time. Peace!

Beautiful shade (blot to help with shine & transfer tho) – I do love this because of the shade. The color is perfect for my dark skin where another product I recently tried (that looked very similar in shade) was too “chalky” for me. This goes on so well that you have to be very careful not to use but a tiny bit at a time. If you do use too much, you will get a lot of shine and transfer to anything it touches. The shine/transfer thing is my one and only gripe but, because the color is so good, I don’t care. One other thing that buyers might want to be aware of is that, while the front label touts the whole “alcohol-free” thing, that’s not strictly true, There is cetyl alcohol in this (like in lots of other cosmetics that make the alcohol-free claim ([…]). This feels very non-drying to the skin, which is good for people worried about that. I’m very dark in complexion (see photo) and the Revlon Cappucino shade of the foundation/concealer 2-in-1 looked way too chalky on me even though it appears to match this Ebony Brown shade of Black Opal. Because I’ve learned that it takes very little of this to get good coverage, I can make this bottle last a long time. A tip on the application if you want to go light on coverage and/or help reduce the transfer problem: dab the foundation on your face in tiny dots then spread it out with slightly damp fingers. I wouldn’t use a sponge for this part because the material will soak up all the foundation. If you do apply the regular way, I’d suggest applying lightly and then smoothing out the coverage with a damp sponge or fingers. Thank goodness I found this product. It’s the most natural shade ever. I still want to test the Black Walnut though!
