Green Face Paint Makeup – This green face paint makeup worked well for our beetlejuice costumes. It was easy to apply with a sponge. It blends well and you can build up the color to a darker shade. We set the paint with powder which prolonged the wear for longer. The only issue is that we had to scrub for a long time to get it off in the shower. It did eventually come off, but I would use a face paint remover in the future.

Good quality but needs to be set with powder. – Good quality just needs to be set by powder. This set is perfect for Beetle Juice. It all wash off but with a little bit of scrubbing.

Easy to Use, Hard to Take Off – These makeup sticks are vibrant colors and glide on the skin. I only tested the colors on the arm. The white was more matte and less shiny than the green and black, but all of the colors were very wet. Not sure if they just take a super long time to dry or need powder to set. There seems to be a good amount in the tube, but depending on what you were painting, not sure how long it would last. We tried washing the colors off within a couple minutes of testing the colors and it was very difficult to remove the colors. I can only imagine how long it would take to take the colors off of your face or other places when its been settling into the skin for a long time. Is there staining on the face afterwards? For this reason, I didn’t give it a higher rating. I didn’t love the staining on the skin and the work it took rubbing the skin raw to remove it. Had to try several different cleansers, despite the box saying it just need soap and water, to finally remove it.

Great quality, but stains skin – I’m giving this 4 out of 5 stars, for a couple of reasons. The first is because, I did genuinely really like this Halloween Make up! It’s highly pigmented, and SO easy to put on. The make up itself is really smooth, and it just glides on easily. You can cover a large area in only a few moments, and the colors are great! I got black, white, and green. The green is a little darker, not neon or vibrant. Like a Frankenstein Green maybe. I’d say the colors are true to how they appeared on my screen. The colors are really solid, so they aren’t very sheer or transparent. They would be good if you’re looking for all one color. One of the things that I liked about them, could also be seen as a con, depending on your needs: They are SUPER SOFT and smooth. So much so, that they smush really easily when using them. So, they will work well for large areas of coverage, and they apply super easily, but they won’t be good for precision or drawing on skin. Also, I don’t know that they would last, even though they give a generous portion, because it’s so sooth and uses a lot going on. I feel that for the price though, it’s totally fair, and they are great quality and effective. My main complaint…and the main reason why I am deducting a star…is that they stain the skin, even after only a few mins of being on. I would be a little wary to put this on my face, for that reason, unless I didn’t mind if the make up still showed the next day! I had put some on my hand as a test, and after 5 minutes I went to wash it off. The bulk of it came right off, but it left a very obvious tint. Still, this is great costume make up, and maybe if you have a decent make up remover, it might not be a problem…I had just used soap and water. I hope this helps!

It definitely needs to be set with a powder, otherwise it WILL rub off and transfer onto clothing, etc. (tested). It was not easy to get off. It took a lot of scrubbing for all the makeup to be removed. All in all, a decent face & body paint.

It’s quite difficult to remove (I used 2 different dishsoaps and hand scrubs and it still didn’t come off 100%). It applies smooth, only takes 1 swipe, spreads easily, and covers very well. There’s quite a bit of product in 1 tube but because it’s so soft, you run the risk of applying more than you need.

Good Face Paint For Kids – These are creamy face paints on a stick & are very creamy. You will need to mattify if you want it to set & help from smudging everywhere. These were also easy to wash off. I like these to use for Halloween or fun on my children.
