good for taking to sleep overs and the such) – got two of these as gifts for younger girls (one is 12 and just got into make up last year and at that time I got her a brush set and a few items so this year wanted to get lots in one…good for taking to sleep overs and the such). the other is for a younger who is 7 and can play with it but not allowed to wear it outside of the house. this actually works well for BOTH situations and was affordable as well. the colors are a good variety for the girls to try and have fun. I will say one thing about the box itself which is not shown here….I say this in case anyone may just take it out of shipping box and wrap it w/o reading the box itself…..there is the word “sexy” on the front describing the types of make up that is inside. I realize I may be too conservative but so is the family of the 7 year old so I am glad I caught that. I simply used a black marker to go over that word. I told the girl’s mom and we both had a good laugh. just not something her dad would wish a 7 year old to be thought of as “sexy” or even ask what that word was or go around saying she was that word. was a simple fix and no big deal. just glad I actually read over it and noticed it.. I went ahead and did it on the 12 year old’s too….I am approaching 40 myself and to me 12 is still too young to use the word “sexy” and b/c I do not know her parents at all (boyfriend’s sister) so figured I would be on the cautious side and do the same. again…just a side piece of info for those that may also wish to be aware. still love the gift 🙂

Perfect for my needs – My 7 year old like to play dress up and play with makeup and lipsticks and this is perfect it’s so many different colors and it also has blush and lipsticks all in one case perfect for the price especially if its for a little kid or teen i can’t speak for adults because i don’t wear makeup but my daughter’s love it oh and it has a mirror

Fun for kids – Bought for my 5 year old, she loves it so much. It’s very pigmented but would not use for myself. The colors are too bright/vibrant for me but definitely a fun palette for a kid to play with although she looks like a clown when she’s finished it washes off easily.

good makeup kit for young girls. – I gave this 4 stars… it would be best for a little girl playing with makeup. That is exactly why my 9 year old purchased it. Overall the quality is Pretty good but i don’t think it is up to par to a drug store makeup name brand like cover girl or Maybelline.
