Very cute and fun, good assortment of colors & textures, case is well designed–does seem a bit pricey though… – I purchased this for my grand-daughter (a tween) who is just beginning to be interested in make-up & hair. This kit is just perfect for her to experiment with; there is a nice assortment of colors, lots of neutrals in varying shades and some nice blues, greens and pinks from pale to fairly dark but nothing overly garish–as long as she doesn’t over-do it with the glitter, that is…just one bright red, but it really isn’t all that bold once applied. The staying power doesn’t seem that long-lasting (a plus, in my case) and the brushes are not very impressive, but the make up seems to be of decent quality, comparable to several drug & discount store brands. Of course the best part is the case itself…it is so adorable plus it is fun to open it up to see the assortment of eye shadows, lip glosses, and powders. Folded back up it looks like a cute accessory sitting on the dresser while keeping the contents clean and protected. It actually seems pretty durable and well made–it is light due to being constructed of plastic, but it doesn’t look or feel cheap or flimsy. The opening and closing mechanism operate smoothly, and seems as if it might be possible to refill with cream based products once all of the included make up is gone, or perhaps use it to store earrings or other tiny things (yes, I really just wanted to buy this for the case). I received this product at a reduced price in exchange for my honest review. Overall, I think this kit is a lot of fun and would make a great gift for the right person, but the price seems to be just a bit high, in my opinion. I have seen some pretty extensive make-up kits in the same price range and the cuteness factor only goes so far, so I think I would be much more likely to purchase this one if the cost was approximately 20 to 25% less than the current listed price of $19.95.

Great Set with a Little Bit of Everything – This makeup set is really cute. It comes in a cute ladybug shape. When it is closed it is fairly small for all the it has inside. To open it you spread the wings out and the makeup spreads out and opens up so you can see everything. The wings spread open smoothly and easily and close easily. They close well to keep out dust. This set has so much to offer. It has a little bit of almost everything you need. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and on a daily basis what I do wear is very subtle. This set provides everything I need, except mascara, for a subtle makeup job. There are also enough eye shadows that I could change things up and wear something more exciting for an evening out.
