Longevity and beautiful finish – Best powder out there! This make up was created by Maurice Stein who was the make up artist for planet of the apes. He is world renowned, and created this make up for burn victims, including film. It is long lasting, and it is finally milled. It does not look cakey or fake at all. Huge fan! Using this for 10 years. Tried other products and this is the one I always come back to.

Natural looking and feeling – This powder is the perfect color to set the #3 Foundation Palette by Cinema Secrets (or yellow/warm undertoned foundation). I like it better than Makeup Forever HD Powder, (and that is a great powder!) I notice a healthy, more natural looking color when I use this. The powder is very fine and soft, does not create creases under the eyes over top of foundation or concealer. This was a splurge for me as there are many companies who make yellow based setting powder for half the cost. However, this is the BEST powder especially when used in combination with the Cinema Secrets Foundation.

Great product…doesn’t settle in fine lines – I have been using this product since 1993 (from young to middle aged woman). It’s so light and provides a flawless finish, even though I now have wrinkles here and there, Cinema Secrets products don’t collect in those (character?) lines. I get compliments on my complexion regularly. I also use CS foundation occasionally and the two products work together marvelously. I highly recommend!

Althouhg I like this powder – Althouhg I like this powder, nothing can avoid my face to shine like the sun. It helps to keep it without a shine for a while but eventually the oil “shines” through the powder. I’ve tried absorbing sheets before I apply the powder but it’s a lost battle. It’s a good product anyway.

Pretty amazing – I used to be an avid user of Makeup Forevers matte loose translucent powder, which is still a good product but I always felt that it powdered up my look when applied over liquid foundation and concealer. It did keep my oil at bay, but it kind of made me makeup look dull. I got this stuff to see if I would like it better and I’m so glad I did. Cinema secrets products are always good but this powder is great! It keeps oil at bay but keeps my makeup looking like how I applied it versus just topping powder on top of everything. I apply with a real techniques big powder brush and voila. When dusted on, it gives the best finish a natural very light finish with just a slight glow. It’s great. Very happy with my purchase!

the perfect powder – i usually get these on sephora’s website but they are cheaper here and i love love love the formula. i like this one better than the laura mercier one too, i feel like it’s a little less drying (for the girls and boys with dry skin). an absolute staple in my makeup bag.
