LOVED by our five year old – This was a birthday gift for our five year old who loves art and painting and dress up. Could not have been a bigger success. This kit is lovely, easy to use, big bright colors, clean and tidy, brushes are good quality, case is sturdy. I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend to anyone. She literally said today “I’m so happy I got this face paint” as she was about 45 mins in to painting her own face in my living room.

Decent set, but colors don’t flow well – I am an experienced artist who wanted to try face paint on my kids. These paints are solid cakes that require water to soften and flow. Unfortunately the paint stays super solid even when water is added, only a thin layer on top soaks up the water. Too much water makes them runny and smeary on skin, too little water keeps them from applying smoothly. It was really hard to do swirls and outlines because that requires paint to flow smoothly. I tried using makeup sponges to apply large areas of paint but again the paint was just too hard to be properly soaked up by the sponges. The sponge soaked up a thin layer of watery paint from the top but not enough to spread around on the face. I might try adding lots of water to the pots and letting it sit for a while before attempting to paint next time.

Easy, vibrant, blend and layer well – Not a great paint job, but shows colors well (he’s 4, whatcha gonna). Easy to use, clean, and remove. the colors worked well, and are well pigmented.

Paints are good and the Glitter is WOW ! ! – Great starter kit for our grandgirls, 11 and 7. They could not wait to try it out. The stick on stencils were a big help and you could use them two or three times at least. The paint colors were good but the big WOW was the glitter. You can do a lot of faces with the amount of paint in the kit. I will probably order more stencils while on Amazon.

Excellent Quality – My first time face painting and this face paint was so cool. I thinned out the white (with water) for the Katana mask and used the red, orange, yellow for the Poison Ivy base. The red was thick enough for the red circle but thin enough to blend. I’ve used it several more times since Halloween with equally fun results. It was sent with a holiday stencil kit that I used for Thanksgiving, Christmas and just because. The colors were vibrant and I enjoyed mixing and experimenting – don’t hesitate to give this stuff a try. To remove any make up I use coconut oil (especially on children) so it wasn’t hard to remove.

Professional body artist opinion. I’m pleased! – I am a professional body artist and am using this palette for my friends kids party. So I can paint the kids, I got this since all my paint might not be safe for kids fragile skin. (Plus it’s expensive.) For what I spent on this palette I’m super pleased!

Good for price but a few things to consider! – I have a 4 because paint quality differs greatly between the colors. Many of the colors pop really well but I had a lot of issue with green and yellow. First, the green isn’t actually green. It’s very murky with a mashed peas baby food color. The yellow is more like a pastel baby yellow which was also very disappointing as I purchased the kit hoping for true primary colors. I had to mix them to get a pale yellow green color for my zombie costume. 🙁
