Coverage was light and color was perfect – I’ve tried several foundations & for the price this one was very good. I didn’t care for the thicker matte finish but that could just be how it settled on my skin. The color was perfect however & it lasted the entire day.

Perfect match, but not entirely what I was going for, lol – I bought Buff Beige, and it was an exact match for my skin tone. However, for part of my Halloween Costume, I was going for two shades lighter than what was supposed to be my natural shade, according to CoverGirl’s website. I tried multiple pictures in different lighting and got two shades darker for my shade, yet when I tested Buff Beige at home, it was a perfect match.

Look at the color in a store if you are not sure which to order! – This is a great foundation, but be aware that it looks far darker here than the actual shade that is listed. If you are sure of your color, you can be certain that you’ll be pleased with COVERGIRL foundation. I’ve used it off and on since high school — and that was a loooong time ago! 🙂

It’s a solid foundation – It’s a good foundation but I found that it settles in my fine lines (I’m 36) if you don’t put it on in a thin layer and I apply it while my moisturizer is still soaking in so that it smooths it around better. It’s sort of concentrated which actually makes it better since you’re getting more for your money. I like to thin it down basically. Once I do that my skin looks like a teenager in the non fine line areas.

Meant for Oily Skin – I have bought the original version of this product, but that was out of stock so I tried this one instead. It is definitely meant for oily skin, which I do not have. I think the coverage would last longer throughout the day if it was on a more oily skin type. It works ok for me, but usually wears off and my skin starts drying out by the evening, so I would have to re-apply.
