Tried and true – I used this product in the past, then experimented with other more expensive powders. I’ve come back to this powder time and again. It provides light coverage that is buildable, absorbs oil well, and blends well with my skin tone. Classic Ivory goes well with my fair skin but I can also use it when I am more tan if I don’t overdo it. My skin can get very oily. I haven’t found anything that keeps the shine away for a full day but this comes close.

Product good. Product design baaaad. – I’ve been using Covergirl Clean Matte Pressed Powder for years, mostly because my very favorite mattifying (Am I actually using the word “mattifying”? I guess I am. Lordy.) pressed powder, CornSilk, is really hard to find (Do they even make it anymore??), and this is a close second. I like powders that feel almost nonexistent — that have NO discernable color, NO sense of being a “layer” over my face, that just take the shine away for a good long time. This does that, for a decent price.
