Works well, but I’m not fond of the scent – Let me preface this by saying that I use witch hazel all the time so I know it smells funky. That’s just the way it is. So I expected that familiar scent with this, but this one is different. The only thing that comes to mind to describe the smell is marshmallows toasted over a campfire. Lol

Cat chin acne! It’s a real thing! – I did not get this product for me initially. I got this for my male Ragdoll cat that has chin acne. Yes, chin acne, it is a real thing. At first when he developed the acne, I thought it was just healing scratches that he suffered from playing with his sister when they were kittens. When the dried looking scabs never cleared up and seemed to just get worse, I started investigating what was going on with his chin. I came across articles upon articles describing this condition along with pictures of the acne and it was exactly what he had. Several remedies included changing any plastic bowls to stainless steel, glass or ceramic. I did that. The acne got better, but still was a problem. I then used veterinary acne pads, and still no improvement. I used Stridex pads with no success. I finally came across and article that recommended Micellar water. When I found the Dickinson’s micellar water I just had to try it. This product is alcohol and fragrance free which was important as I did not want to cause any more discomfort to the cat’s chin. The addition of witch hazel to this product makes it even better. This product is gentle but does clean his chin without any visible discomfort to the cat. I moisten and lint free pad and clean his chin and also clean his ears. There was a noticeable difference on his chin within a few days. Hallelujah!!! After one year of trying to clear this acne, I have finally found the solution. Oh, and by the way, I love using this micellar water on my own face. I highly recommend Dickinson’s Micellar water!

This smelled horrible! I don’t know what’s making it smell bad. – I’ve never really used this type of product before. I opened the bottle and it smelled really bad. I don’t even know how to describe the smell. I looked on the bottle and I don’t see anything that should make it smell the way it did. It’s not medicinal it’s more like a motor oil smell or some thing. I used some on a cotton square around on my face. I couldn’t get past the smell of this. It originally smelled bad when I peeled the seal off the bottle so I thought it was just maybe the seal. But it was not it’s the product. Sorry to say this isn’t for me. I would’ve rated this one or two stars based on the smell but I suppose it’s probably doing what it should be so that’s why I rated it a three star.

Great size and affordable – I had a liquid glitter eyeshadow on for hours now, and i wanted to try it out on that, since sometimes products with glitter are harder to get off. I did one swipe with a cotton round and it removed 90% of it on the first wipe, i have sensitive dry skin, and it did sting my eyes a little, not sure if it’s from this or maybe getting the eyeshadow in my eye, but like i said, i have very sensitive skin. Seems to work great and does what it’s intended to do. Although it’s fragrance free ( no fragrance added) you can for sure smell the witch hazel, and i’ve grown to love the smell.
