Colors not working well for me – This is a 10-pack but the photos only show 4 colors. Based on those shown, I thought it would be a lots of neutral or earth-based. The actually 10-pack has some of the neutrals shown but then also some colors that I would never wear. The lighter shades don’t show up well on me at all (and I’m a very fair-skinned white person). There is a medium beige/tan that does okay to cover my full lid, but the lighter and pinker ones don’t show. There is a dark brown that I like, but the rest of the dark colors, which would actually show up on me, are colors I wouldn’t wear – like dark blue and purple. So out of 10, I have 2 that I could see using on a regular basis.

10 Pack Set – This is a 10-pack of eyeshadow sticks. They’re mostly matte, with a few shimmers mixed in. Some shades are a bit chalky looking, but others are vivid and more pigmented and spread easily. The best shades to me are cool beans (a cocoa color), thrift shop (a taupe color), and champagne crystal as a highlighter, but I tend to like neutral colors. Elf is an inexpensive brand of drugstore quality makeup, so I consider it more for teens.

Nice colors, glides on smooth, not long wear – I got a set of 10 elf eyeshadow sticks, which is what the listing said when I picked this up, but the picture showed 4. There is a green shade, blue, purple, brown, tan, pink, and some neutral shiny ones. These glide easily across the eyelid. It’s kind of like a gel crayon, so it was like I was drawing on my eyelids. They are all pigmented well, and every color showed up on my fair skin. While they look fantastic, they didn’t really seem to be long lasting for me. After another 4 hours, I feel like the color started to fade. Setting this helped it stay longer, but I wouldn’t use this if I needed it to last all day. But for a night out? Sure.
