Good, but not like the name brand – I ordered this set because it is clearly supposed to be a dupe for Benefit’s “Benetint” lip tint, which I use all the time and love. The main selling point of “Benetint” is that it’s pigmented but not completely opaque, it’s very easy to blend, and the color matches all skin tones and types. I was hoping for similar properties in this product, but it’s very very different. These are hardcore lip stains, not tints. They are extremely pigmented and go on so opaque, drying within a split second. I tried to dot this on my lips and blend it out by rubbing my lips together, but it had already dried by that point and didn’t blend, leaving me with small dots of stain exactly where I had applied the product. You have to be extremely precise when applying these, especially because the stain lasts forever. I applied some on my hand as a test swatch, and I couldn’t remove the stain with face wash, micellar water, or rubbing alcohol. The stain on my hand lasted over two days. On the lips, it lasts literally all day, and you really have to scrub to get the stain off. Overall, these are good if you’re looking for a hardcore lip stain, but if you need something more workable I’d go with something else.

A little goes a long way – The bottles arrived well wrapped with plastic, such that one of the bottles leaking a little bit didn’t affect the others. However, the leaking bottle needs extra caution in handling, as any bit of fluid that gets caught in the cap ends up pushed out. Also, most of the product information is on the plastic wrapping of the bottles, which has to be at least cut (damaging some of the text) to allow the cap to unscrew. The bottom of each bottle does have a “flavor”/scent reference though.

Doesn’t wipe off after it dries, the colors are a little bright/strong – I don’t wear a ton of makeup. Usually the most I wear on my lips is tinted lipgloss and it wears off fairly quickly. I like how long the color lasts, even when I put lip gloss on afterward. I only like 2 of 4 colors, but that’s actually pretty good for me. I have a trip next month, and I’m going to take one bottle with me because of how much I like it. I think I’ll buy more later.

Very Long Lasting – These lip stains really have staying power. They are lightweight and very intense with the color pay off. It takes a steady hand to apply, because any mistake or applying outside the lip line will stain skin all day. That being said, these lip stains last through meals and throw drinking. They do dry out my lips a little, but a little lip balm over the top helps. These are also very tiny, so they are easy to put in your pocket or in your handbag. The colors all seem to be very similar, I do wish there would have been more variation in this set.

I really like them! – I don’t wear lipstick. I have not found a color that I like on me, I hate the stickiness and I really hate seeing it on a glass or straw for my drinks. I also tend to lick my lips a lot! I normally just use lip balm or gloss. I actually liked these tints. I’m really not sure if I’ll use the darker ones but the Apple gave my lips a nice pinkish tint that I liked. They smell fruity and left a bit of sweetness on my lips. The color does last longer than lipstick or gloss and they aren’t sticky. The apple did arrive having leaked a little but luckily it didn’t get over all of them, just under the plastic wrap. I like that they are small enough to take with me. The strawberry and watermelon are very close in color.

It will also stain your hands and sink and clothes while trying to clean up the mess, so be mindful.
