A little disappointed with this gloss – I got the shade “ethereal” and I think I might have liked this better if it weren’t loaded with glitter. I didn’t see any reviews that mentioned that, and based on the photos it appeared to me to be a nice opaque non-shimmer formula. But this is definitely glittery, not shimmery. It’s not at all shimmery like the L’Oréal lifter glosses or the Fenty glosses, or any other shimmery gloss like that. This is a thick formula, not the thin type of gloss that feels like lip oil or water/serum. This is a substantial formula that I might call gloopy on a critical day. It’s not sticky, but it’s just THICK. Usually I find that kind of formula to be a little longer lasting on the lips, maybe more hydrating. Unfortunately the glitter in this is so heavy you can feel it on the lips, and it doesn’t feel nice. The thickness and the glitter together make this uncomfortable to me. It does look pretty at first, but once the shine wears off and you’re left with glitter particles all over your lips, it’s not my cup of tea.
