Colors too light – I have had four Julep eyeshadow sticks and been pleased with them. I tried the Mauve and Rose duo and am rather disappointed. They barely show on my skin despite multiple layers. I am fair skinned and freckles and maybe the colors are just too close to my skin tone. I was looking for a fresh, natural highlight but Mink Mauve and Rose are disappointing. Just too sheer for me.

BEST CREAM EYESHADOW EVER – I’m telling you – GET THIS EYESHADOW. I have very sensitive eyes and can only wear cream. This is an incredibly flattering shade, subtle and natural yet romantic with a tad bit of drama. Good for day or night. Really makes my green eyes pop. it’s creamy, it stays put, very blendable, has just the right amount of shimmer (don’t want to head to Wegmans looking like a Showgirl). And the white frost it comes with is the perfect brow highlighter and also looks beautiful at the front of the eye. Ladies – you never knew how beautiful you were until you look at yourself in these eyes!!!!

both pieces in this pack were broken – I’ve been using Julep for years. The colors are beautiful, it’s smooth, and lasts. This is my first time buying them in a 2 pack, and they must have been stored incorrectly, dropped, or roughly handled… because BOTH sticks were broken. I managed to reconnect both plastic pieces, but the color stick inside had broken in half. I’m still using it, but will not order this again due to handling quality.
