Very smooth – This listing must have been for something else at one point because some reviews mention a pallette and a brush. This is NOT that product. These are eyeshadow sticks.

glides on smooth without too much pressure – I first tried the shadow stick of another brand that sells for $5. It was good, but I felt I had to apply too much pressure on my eyelid. So I tried these and have been happy. They are a little less sheer than the other brand and glide on smooth giving me the coverage I desire with just a couple passes over the lid. There is still some sheerness to them. It is shiny/ shimmery, so as long as that is what you are looking for, then it should work great.
