Pretty shimmer, but weird sponge applicator. – This has a beautiful white powder shimmer, kind of like an eyeshadow loose powder. The sponge applicator is a but strange, I guess the shimmer comes through it. You can’t take the sponge applicator off to access the loose powder (that I’m aware of, I tried pulling on it). This makes it a bit bulky to apply to eyes (I switched to applying it with my finger to eyes instead of the sponge head). You can’t control how much powder is on the sponge, though it is buildable if you want to distribute more powder. I haven’t had any big powder clumps or anything, it gave a nice even shimmer distribution so far.

Very sparkly – I was under the impression this was a type of makeup highlighter, so was slightly disappointed to find it’s fine milled, dry sparkles. The applicator is something I’ve never seen before, just a piece of foam on the top of the bottle you rub on your skin. I was concerned at first that if the bottle was accidentally shaken the sparkles would go everywhere, but they actually stay put until you touch the applicator to something. It releases a light layer with each stroke, so you don’t end up with big clumps of silver glitter. This would work great for adding glitter to your hair, or a very dramatic/costumey look. Definitely not a makeup highlighter for everyday though lol.

Needs to be easier to apply. Gives the shimmer of a glitter, if that is your thing. – There is a sponge applicator which seems counterintuitive/counterproductive. I can use this for parties, but hard to use. I love the gold for my eyes (except for loose particles). I tried my lips too, which is nice. However, I will not use it on my cheeks. I am 68 years old, after all. I am happy with this brand because it is inexpensive and has many great products. Follow the reviews to see if this or any other product is for you.

Nice shimmer. A little strange – This is a very interesting product, and when I first got it I was a little bit confused about the applicator. It says you need to tap on it, so it took me a bit to figure out how to get it going and on the applicator side which is basically just tapping. Once you get some of it to come out on the applicator, then you can place it wherever you want it. It’s a bit strange, in general. I have been using it as a highlighter, so I have been placing it on my nose and around my eyes. It’s mainly a sparkle or white glitter. Is a nice white color that I have wanted, since some of my other highlighters are a little bit tinted and I prefer this white. odd application – i liked this highlighter and it was a very pretty color. the application is a weird wandish thing that can get easily get discolored by my other makeup. that was the biggest flaw i saw but i overall liked it
