Pigmented – I wish the brush was different. The liners themselves are really pigmented and you don’t have to layer it up.

Middle of the road – These colors are gorgeous and very nicely pigmented. However, the application is frustrating. Fresh out the box, I tested them on my hand and saw that using the applicator was a miss. It just was not going to work. The come with little applicator brushes that worked much better and what I ended up using over the applicator (it’s so stiff and difficult to work with and you can’t control the thickness of the lines with it. It is NOT waterproof, but was decently long lasting. Some colors look better than others in a black light. Overall, this product was frustrating to use for me. They took a lot of work to make work and it was a frustrating process. I can see the use, but it’s not for me.

I definitely recommend using brushes other than the one that is in the lid because it doesn’t work very well to lay down color. It’s very tiny so it might be okay for a thin line but even then it’s not the greatest brush. Be aware that these aren’t waterproof and even though they dry down, you can still wipe them off. But they are easy to remove at the end of the day. I use them more for face painting as opposed to eyeliner because of the bright colors.
