Great application, hard to sharpen – Initially I loved this product, until I sharpened it. It glides on in one stroke, and does not smudge. I used it 5-6 times before I had to sharpen it. Well sharpening it , killed the easy application. Now I have to push and I get 1/2 gel applied and 1/2 splinters. I have gotten the pencil to apply easier by sharpening it further down, but at that rate; it’s one use per sharpening.

I so love this, stays on till morning! – It goes great in the inner eyelid. My old ones we had no light with a lighter to make it stick, not this one.

It definitely stays on which is awesome for oily lids.. – It stays on very very well. Unfortunately sharpening it is a little difficult and to get that beautiful point back is almost impossible. And yes that’s right. You can sharpen it! Unfortunately I still haven’t gotten the hang of it and every time I sharpen it, the ink inside breaks off and falls out or I can’t get it to a nice little point again or I’m scared to put it by my eyes due to the shreds. Any tips on this would be awesome. Pun intended. Lol for that reason it did lose one star but I definitely like the consistency of it. I just wish instead of sharpening it, I could just move it up like lipstick or chopstick for more ink.

Truly is smudgeproof – I bought the rose quartz eyeliner. Let me start by saying this truly is smudgeproof. I tested it on the back of my hand in the morning and by 2pm it was still there. I washed my hands with regular soap and water and I could still see it after I dried my hands. I washed my hands a couple more times and by the end of the day I could still see traces of it (it was a little lighter). I had no reaction to the test so I used it on my waterline. This eyeliner didn’t play nice with my eyeballs because my eyes were red for the rest of the day. My eyes were a little sore so I used eye drops to relieve the discomfort. I’m still rating this 4 stars because I can find other uses for it (i.e. not my waterline) and just because I’m sensitive to it, doesn’t mean everyone will be. The color itself is beautiful. I’d say it’s more of a rose gold. The shimmer is nice. It did look nice in my waterline aside from the red eyes… I added a photo and for reference my skintone is fairly light with pink undertones. I wore my yellow gold ring for comparison (to me the eyeliner looks rose gold). I hope this helps someone make a decision. I wasn’t given anything for free for this review; I just like writing reviews

Glides On So Smoothly! – I love this eye pen. It glides on so smoothly and effortlessly. I don’t use mascara because of sparse eyelashes, so I put this on the underneath of the eyelashes I do have and a little on my waterline. Very nice. Can’t even tell my eyelashes are thin. Looks great!

Perfect for more natural look. – I normally do not wear makeup and when I do wear makeup I usually just apple under eye concealer, mascara, brow gel and occasionally eye liner. What I love about this color is that it adds a naturally looking highlight without being too excessive. I applied it to my waterline and the color was still visible by the end of the day! Would recommend as I love it!

Bold, durable, easily applicable eyeliner – I am someone who religiously wears black, cat-eye style, black, bold eyeliner. After not being to find my previous brand I was loyal to (Around the Clock Midnight by Maybelline), someone recommended this as an alternative. I was looking for a gel pencil that you use a sharpener on (NOT a twistable one) and that lasts through long work hours and physical activity. I have LOVED this eyeliner so far and am amazed at what it can withstand throughout the day while also still being removed relatively easily with makeup wipes. Even when I go for a run or play sports it looks nearly the same as when I first put it on! It applies very smoothly while still allowing you to make defined points or shapes as needed. You also don’t need to keep redrawing over the same spot over and over again to get desired coverage like with some pencils. The deep onyx color is such a dark, bold looking color as well.
