Polyethylene (plastic)- and Fragrance-free! Works great! Very good value for money! – Most cleansing balms contain polyethylene microplastics that are harmful to sea life once it’s in the water stream, but this one is one of my favorites because it doesn’t contain these harmful plastics but works just as well as any other cleansing balm available on the market (including many more expensive ones)! It is also fragrance-free, so it is great for anyone with skin that is sensitive to fragrance! I use this in a double cleanse routine (as recommended by my dermatologist) where I use this cleansing balm as my first cleanse to remove makeup and toxins and then I’ll follow it with a gentle gel cleanser as my second cleanse to remove any residue before I moisturize.

Love that it has no detectable fragrance – I am a huge fan of the major cosmetics brand of the cleansing balm. However the price point of said major brand is a deterrent for me. This performs equally to the major brand. The price per ounce is comparable to the major brand, so it isn’t really a better value per-se but because you have the ability to purchase a smaller quantity with the Neutrogena brand you pay less, thus making it ultimately more affordable.

Great for Removing Long Lasting/Waterproof Make-up – As someone with allergies that give me runny eyes year round, I have always had to use waterproof eyeliners and mascaras to keep my eye make-up on all day. (Hint: Waterproof mascara also helps your eyelashes hold their curl all day too!) The downside is finding a way to gently remove these products without harsh chemicals or rubbing of the delicate eye skin.
