Silky matte eye primer – The instructions say to click the pen about 30 times to get the primer going into the sponge tip. It took probably 10 extra clicks for me to get some product out, so don’t think yours is broken if it takes a minute. It’s hard to see if you have product on the tip as it appears mostly translucent with a light hue, and it’s has a super silky silicone feeling. It went on my eyelids super smooth, and left them feeling matte and silky. I almost couldn’t tell if it was dry. It didn’t feel stiff on my eyelids like some other primers have. My eyeshadow stayed in place and stayed bright the whole time I had my eyeshadow on. Touch in Sol’s face primer is good too, very pleased!

Very helpful – Good primers from this brand. Didn’t know there was primer just for the eyes, but that’s the area I need it most. This is very convenient and easy to use. It came in an unsealed box, but tampering would be apparent since it’s a sponge applicator. Just wish it wasn’t $18.

Never purchase, it turns watery after first use, I shook it to hopefully mix it, still watery…. – Hard to take a picture while it’s running in your eyes

Worked – Shadow Lasted All Day – Was a bit surprised this primer works, as I have tried a few with disappointment. Normally I use my regular foundation and dust with setting powder before eyeshadow, which has temporary effect and eventual creasing. I decided to use exactly as instructed and applied to clean skin with no setting powder- just to really test the claim. It comes up cleaer and matte, so I had to test first on the top of my hand to see if anything is actually coming out. Once it surfaces on my hand, I then applied to my entire eye lids and let it dry a minute or two. It goes on very sheer and matte with a bit of a fine parafin feel to it. Then I applied my favorite matte shadow and contour shadow that has a bit of shimmer to it. At the end of the day, my shadow was still going strong with little to no creasing or splitting. Now a fan, and not disappointed. Price point seems reasonable considering how little is required (one or two clicks once it reaches the sponge). It does what it claims.

Ok but….. – First, for reference…I’m 51 and have oily and somewhat crepey eyelids BUT they are very prone to eczema in the creases . (I didn’t exactly win the lottery in terms of skin genetics ). And hill I liked pretty much everything about this product as far as how my eye shadow applied smoothly, and lasted longer than using setting powder, it did aggravate the eczema… ♀️ ♀️
