So far I’m not very impressed – The colors of these pigments are so bright and vibrant in the jars I was really excited to play with them. But I really struggled to get much color payoff… I tried applying with my fingers and a brush with no luck. Then I tried to mix some with mehron mixing medium but it just looked really patchy and weird. You can use them for a light wash of color and they are very pretty. But I was really hoping for some bold neon pigments.. I’m still hopeful I’ll find a way to make these work.

Not all that bright – The little tubs are tiny. And you need a lot of layering for it to stand out. Some colors work better than others but the product itself does not work as well as others out there.

Nice makeup – This makeup is nice for a glow type event where there are black lights. It will not glow on its own. The colors all glow pretty well except for the blue. The colors aren’t super pigmented when applied directly to the skin. Using a primer does help. Even if they aren’t super pigmented in normal light they do glow nicely under the black lights and have the desired effect. You do need to be careful of fall out because anywhere it goes it will look as if it is glowing.

I had to wash bathmats, mop floors, etc. You can’t tell where it’s going because it is so light, but ones the lights go out and UV lights go on, you’ll see where it’s landed. I am not a fan, and it hasn’t been used more than once. Perhaps better suited for an adult, who is very careful and likes to go dancing in clubs with UV light. That’s where this product really shines.
