Why buy the expensive brands? – This pencil works as well as most eyeliner pencils for a pittance of the price. It doesn’t break off when I sharpen it, and it lasts forever. I wish it was just a little creamier, but I can overlook that. Part of the problem is my old wrinkled eyelids. It sometimes makes it hard to get a smooth line. But that’s not the pencil’s fault.

Surprising Quality – I purchased Pretty in Mink, which is a dark, cool ash brown. I am surprised at the quality of this pencil, it stays put better than some other more expensive brands. I did not notice any bleeding, but the darkness does fade a bit after 4-5 hours. Still impressive for the price, and the shade is very flattering with my grey eyes. I use this pencil for days at home when I want sultry contrast but don’t want to use my high end products.
