Perfect. Exactly what I wanted. – This is exactly the sort of chromatic/iridescent highlighter I was looking for. If you want to be covered in magical cosmic fairy dust, this is the right stuff.

Perfect for my Halloween look – I applied “Not your basic witch” with a big fluffy brush as a contour, then applied my bronzer and blush to balance it out. It was actually so pretty and sheer that I could see using it year round and not just for Halloween. I also applied a bit in my eye crease and it was pretty there as well. Glad I purchased!

It isn’t black. – So I ordered this because I wanted a full pan of black glittery shadow. I loveeeee the cute skull imprint so much! Unfortunately though this is NOT black…. it is grey! I kept it though because it is so adorable lol.

Subtle Holographic Shimmer Wished There Were Several Shades – Wet n Wild is one of my absolute favorite makeup distributors because they offer great selections, great products, and great value for a low price. I am using this highlighting powder as an eyeshadow. First of all I love this packaging and I love the skull design. This thing looks like it will last a very long time. There is a slight smell to it but it’s pleasant. So the punch of the powder is a shimmer but it’s not a bold shimmer. If you want one of those highlighters that’s like high beams, this is not the one. It offers a whisper of shimmer that is semi-holographic. For my purposes, very beautiful as I didn’t want to look like a clown with a bunch of caked white shadow. I am going to try it on my cheeks and see what happens. I can see where this would be useful in costume makeup like a snow queen, fairy, etc. it has a little “cold” shimmer. Next time I’m going to purchase the black version of this highlighter and try it as a shadow or liner. I sort of wish they packed in a little more sparkle and offered a variety of shades.

Not Your Basic Witch – I mean, it’s not a highlight. It’s black. But, I bought it because I needed a single pan of black eyeshadow and this is essentially that. The overspray is very sparkly, and the shadow itself has some fine, barely-there shimmer once that’s gone, but it’s surprisingly pigmented! I have dark skin and it turns out quite nicely. It should be lovely for anyone who wants an affordable black eyeshadow.

Not quite black enough but good amount – I thought this would be just a little darker I don’t see this being used as a highlighter but it’s great for an eyeliner setter to make my eyeliner look darker. It’s sparkly and I like that but it’s just not quite dark compared to my other black eyeshadows I used. For the price though you get a great amount and I love the skull.
