Cute sponge works well – I’m not surprised that it works well , I usually dampen my sponges before using and they get soft and bouncy , this one did just that and I love the color ✨

Wet n Wild – Typical Wet n Wild makeup sponge. Not high end but its budget friendly and I’ll always love this brand. No issues, no complaints.

like a regular beauty blender – I wanted to love this because of the packaging. I thought it was going to be white and change colors. It’s actually lavender and changes to a little bit pink with hot water. I don’t generally wet my beauty blenders with hot water, i usually just use a little setting spray. This one grew in size quite a bit after wetting. I’ve actually stopped using these and went to foundation brushes because i feel like the absorb too much product. If you like sponge blenders, this one is just fine.

Great sponge! – I’ve never used a beauty blender so I cannot compare to that or any other “high end” blending sponge. Compared to my current sponge (I can’t remember the brand), it is just as good if not better. It may be a tad firmer, really hard to tell. It doesn’t feel hard or uncomfortable on my face. For summer, I use liquid and creamier types in winter. This blended my liquid fine and gave me the light coverage I prefer. I like the pointed tip which my old sponge doesn’t have because it makes it easier to get closer to my eyes and corners. It cleans up nicely but I do use a water based foundation so not sure how easy it is to clean with the longwear types. Dry, it is smaller than my current sponge but it plumps nicely when wet. I added some ruler comparisons pics if that is helpful to anyone. I also put a pic of the hydrated sponge back it in it’s packaging compartment to show how much it plumps just for reference. There’s no bad or weird smell and while not a selling point for me, I think the color changing effect is cute. As you can see, my old sponge is a tad worn so I wanted to pick up a new replacement. This one fits my needs just fine and I’ll continue to use it. BIG plus–it is cruelty free!!
