Getting organized – I’ve been on an eyeshadow binge and am desperately trying to get organized because it’s taking over my vanity. I thought these would do it, but I was being overly optimistic (bottom line is I just have too much crap). While these help (and would be quite useful for someone with, say, half the collection I have), there are some drawbacks. The sections are not adjustable, which I knew going in, but it didn’t occur to me that this would be such an issue. Some palettes are thick, some are quite thin – and with all these dividers being equally spaced, you aren’t able to make full use of the slots. I do have some palettes that are thin enough to double up, but there are the others that don’t take the whole space but are too big to fit with another. For the price, though, I realize it isn’t feasible to expect something as fancy as moveable dividers, and they do what they are supposed to well enough to recommend even though they really don’t solve my particular problem. And if you like a clean, minimalist look, they will fit right in, which is definitely a bonus in my book.

Worth the money – I ordered this product about three weeks ago and unfortunately it was damaged in shipping but Amazon was very kind enough to replace the order and when I finally got the undamaged product I love the way that I organize all my eyeshadow palettes and Compaqs. Just make sure if you order it you tell them to put a notation for the Postal Service to be very fragile with the shipping or else you are as well might be broken when you receive it
